Your Airstream's Christmas List

Every Airstream is equipped with a lot of features and additions that you won’t find on any other type of unit. But just like your kids your Airstream always wants something new. So here is a list of things our Airstream’s and their owners are asking for this Christmas. You can find these items and more in our Airstream of Utah showroom. 

1. Most important for your little (or sometimes big) guy is safety. So, number one on our list for them is the essential Equal-izer Hitch. Here at Airstream of Utah, our owner Dennis almost insists on one of these with each unit. The solid bars that rest on a saddle bolted to your unit make sure your trailer is following your vehicle safely. This brings stability in wind and slick road conditions as well as taking weight off of your hitching point and putting it on the tires of your vehicle and unit to have better weight distribution.
2. Surge protector- Protect your unit in all campgrounds from electrical surges that can do damage from fuse damage even to catching your unit on fire and not the kind you want to roast chestnuts on.
3. Generator- Two of these daisy chained together will be able to support your 30-amp unit with the Air conditioner running and the microwave. This makes boondocking much more relaxed and worry free.
4. Correct toilet paper- No one wants a stinky and clogged black water tank. Using Aqua Soft dissolving and 100% biodegradable toilet paper you will not need to worry about any clogs.
5. Walbernize- Keep your baby shiny and the clear coat intact by polishing and sealing your unit at least once a year.
6. Solar panels- With every Airstream being wired for solar panels to be put on the top this is a no brainer. With voltage options depending on the size of your Airstream these will act as a trickle.
7. Fiamma Bike rack- Don’t fret about putting your bikes on top of your vehicle any longer. This bike rack is secured directly onto the bumper of your trailer allowing you to securely put two bikes on. This only works on a unit with a bumper or has had a bumper kit attached.       
8. Back up camera- A Blu tooth back up camera is one of the best things to bring you peace of mind while in tow. The monitor goes up on your windshield and as long as your lights are on the camera is on. So, you can use it not only for backing up but also as a rear-view mirror.
9. Yeti – Everyone has heard of Yeti by now. You can get one in any shape or size to fit what you do. We love the Hopper Flip. It is easy to carry are always reliable.
10. Pedego bike- As far as toys go this is the best. A Pedego electric bike with options for pedal assist or full electric some of us have hit some great speeds and had a lot of fun of these babies.
